Part of Washington Avenue renamed for supermodel Karlie Kloss
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Supermodel Karlie Kloss attended a dedication ceremony on Monday to rename a part of Washington Avenue in her honor.
A stretch of road in the Garment District was renamed Karlie Kloss Way in honor of the Webster Groves native. Mayor Tishaura Jones joined in the ceremony at 15th Street and Washington Avenue.
St. Louis City officials said that although Kloss is based in New York and travels the world, she continues to be a cheerleader for St. Louis and the St. Louis fashion industry.
