Fashion Fund Awards Inaugural Susan Sherman Fashion Scholarships at Neiman Marcus Event

Saint Louis Fashion Fund just announced the recipients of its inaugural Susan Sherman Fashion Scholarships named after the Fashion Fund’s Co-Founder and Board Chair Susan Sherman. Scholarships were earmarked for students who are Missouri residents attending a Missouri college or university with an accredited fashion or fashion-related program.
The formal announcement took place in conjunction with Fashion Fund’s 2nd Annual “Fashion Futures Sendoff” in partnership with Caleres and Neiman Marcus.
“We received a remarkable number of impressive applications this year and we thank every single student who took the time to apply and share their story, passion and creativity with us. We are encouraging all applicants whether they received a scholarship or not to stay in touch as we are excited to follow their paths,” said Sherman.
The 2025 Susan Sherman Fashion Scholarship recipients are Lindenwood University students: Constance Anthony of Florissant, Shelby Schmutzler of St. Charles, Bridget Stevenson of O’Fallon, and Washington University in St. Louis student: Zariah Taylor of St. Louis City. Each recipient will receive a $5,000 scholarship.
About 100 students, parents and fashion industry leaders and professional attended the “Fashion Futures” event at Neiman Marcus which according to Saint Louis Fashion Fund Executive Director Becky Domyan “provides students studying fashion and design the opportunity to meet with top industry fashion professionals who can advise and help shape their career pathways in their own backyard.”
