Fashion Fund Announces New Board Member, Sierra Thompson

Saint Louis Fashion Fund, a nonprofit and long-recognized face and voice of fashion for the St. Louis Region, has named Sierra Thompson to its Board of Directors.

Sierra Thompson is Vice President of Business Development for Evntiv, a premier event design and production agency based in downtown St. Louis. A visionary in experiential storytelling, Sierra is known for her ability to translate brand identities into immersive, large-scale moments that blend creative ingenuity with strategic impact. She has led initiatives for Fortune 500 companies, nonprofit institutions, and cultural organizations alike—always with a deep respect for the communities they serve.

Thompson’s career has been defined by connecting ideas to action— her vision and expertise have helped raise tens of millions of dollars for organizations including Boys and Girls Club, BJC HealthCare, Humane Society, Make-A-Wish, Mercy Health Foundation, Opera Theater of St. Louis, Stray Rescue, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, and many more. Her expertise spans marketing, digital production, experiential advertising, and operations, allowing her to craft experiences that are both beautiful and meaningful.

A recipient of the St. Louis Business Journal’s 100 St. Louisans to Know to Succeed in Business, Sierra is also a deeply purpose-driven leader. She serves on the Board of Mental Health America of Eastern Missouri, where she chairs development and was honored as Gala Chair in 2023. Her heart-forward leadership has also led her to found four nonprofits focused on mental health, female empowerment, suicide awareness, and creative entrepreneurship.

“Sierra’s background in experiential design and business development brings a dynamic perspective to Saint Louis Fashion Fund. A lifelong creative with a reverence for personal expression, she sees fashion as not just a medium of style but a vehicle of storytelling, identity and community building. We are thrilled to have her support in championing local talent, attracting new voices, and shaping our St. Louis region as a fashion destination,” said Susan Sherman, Chair, Saint Louis Fashion Fund.

“Joining the St. Louis Fashion Fund board is an honor and I look forward to supporting the Fund’s mission of positioning St. Louis as a vibrant hub for fashion design, innovation, and equity. For me, fashion is expression. It’s a connector, a catalyst and invitation – and our city is poised for a creative renaissance,” said Thompson.
