About Wes Gordon

Raised in Atlanta, Gordon grew up surrounded by the grace and romance of the South. Enamored with high fashion from an early age, Gordon developed a keen interest in the way people express themselves through clothing.

Set on the idea of taking part in the transformative power of fashion, Gordon enrolled in the prestigious Central Saint Martins University of Art and Design in London. Between school semesters, Gordon honed his skills by interning with industry icons – Oscar de la Renta and Tom Ford. Upon graduation in 2009, he launched his eponymous line of womenswear and launched his first collection at New York Fashion Week in 2010.

In 2017, Gordon hit pause on his own line to consult for fellow New York-based designer Carolina Herrera. He went on to become creative director after Herrera stepped down to become international brand ambassador instead. Since then, Gordon has been widely applauded for reworking Carolina Herrera’s signature elements and colorful designs in a way that are bold, vibrant and playful and are recognized for their integrity and joyful design. “My hero woman wants clothes that make her unforgettable.”
